A few weeks back, I found an abandoned work area in Lemoore when I was out driving around and had my first Urbex experience. We had some great cloud cover that day and the original plan was to go shoot one of the food processing plants in the area. When I got there, the perimeter was all fenced off and I’m sure the tripod police would be on the prowl… I really wasn’t ‘feeling it’ anyways so I just decided to drive around the fields with hopes of finding something to shoot, when I stumbled across this place. I did a walk through of the site and the fuel pump had caught my eye. I liked the contrasting colors and decided to shoot straight on because of the way the tank splits up the scene.
