Fishy Fireworks

Last year my buddy Mike called me up to see if I wanted to meet to shoot some fireworks at the Sunset Grille.  The family was in Okinawa, but I was mid-demo for my bathroom floor.  I decided that I earned a break and headed out to shoot a bit.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t getting too many keepers through the show so we started to pack up.  I was trying to get some long exposures of some passing boats when a few more fireworks shot off the island.  I quickly recomposed and grabbed this frame, which ended up being the last shot of the night :)

  1. Love this…never would think to shoot fireworks with a fisheye

That’s different! Unusual framing and the Fisheye has produced something really dramatic. Great shot Chris.
