Reach for the Sky

A year ago, my friend Doug and I traveled from Lemoore to meet up with Heath O’Fee, Mike Olbinski, Chris Frailey, and Rick Young.  We had a blast shooting and hanging out at Joshua Tree National Park, even it was cold and the sunset on the first night was a dud (it made up for itself day 2…).  Chris had posted a shot from our trip this week so I decided to revisit the archives for a shot in the morning.  I could use another photog trip, anyone else?

These trees always seem so improbable: growing as if from nowhere. This tree seems to be leaning into that warm light. Nice work Chris.
